Attorney review pending for real-data use. Development draft. SafeReport may be deployed publicly for technical and attorney review, but its final Terms, Privacy Policy, and real-person publication rules must be reviewed by qualified counsel before the service is treated as ready for real reports or real-name public safety records.

These rules explain how SafeReport may be used. By submitting information or using a SafeReport account, you agree to use the service in good faith and follow these rules.

Use SafeReport in good faith

SafeReport is for direct victims and direct witnesses who want to share safety information in good faith. Do not submit information you know is false. Do not use SafeReport to threaten, harass, shame, bully, dox, retaliate against, or seek revenge against another person.

A report is not a finding of guilt

A report, a pattern signal, or a SafeReport review does not prove that a person committed misconduct or a crime. SafeReport uses human review and controlled publication rules before any reviewed information may appear publicly.

Keep reports firsthand

A report must be based on what you personally experienced or directly witnessed. SafeReport may reject, pause, limit, or remove submissions that do not meet its reporting rules.

No misuse or unlawful content

Do not upload threats, unlawful material, private information that is not needed for review, or content intended to intimidate or expose another person. Do not use another person's private contact information to encourage direct contact or harassment.

Public information is controlled

Private reports are not published directly. Public information, when allowed, is prepared as a separate sanitized record. SafeReport may correct, suppress, or remove public information while it is being re-checked.

Corrections and disputes

A person may request a correction or re-review of public information. A request does not by itself prove that SafeReport made an error, and it does not establish guilt or innocence. If authorized staff accept a material identity or factual challenge, SafeReport may temporarily suppress the public information while it is checked again.

No direct contact through SafeReport

SafeReport does not provide a channel for a person being reported to contact a reporter. Reporter identity, private evidence, private narratives, access codes, and internal case details are not part of the public correction process.

Changes and enforcement

SafeReport may update these rules as the service changes. Access may be limited when these rules are violated or when doing so is needed to protect privacy, safety, security, or the integrity of the review process.
